SPEEDBOAT BROKE DOWN Plymouth, Devon. At 6.43 p.m. on Kth April, 1964, the coastguard told the honorary secretary that a speedboat with one occupant had broken down half a mile south of their lookout. There was a gentle north-westerly breeze with a smooth sea, and an ebbing tide. The lifeboat Thomas Forehead and Mary Rowse left at 6.54 and quickly reached the speedboat.
