RETURNED SAFELY At i p.m. on I3th March, 1964, the lifeboat coxswain informed the honorary secretary that three local fishing vessels were at sea in deteriorating weather. The life-boat Mary Ann Hepworth was launched at 1.12 in a east-south-easterly gale and a rough sea. It was two hours before high water.
