DEAD WOMAN FOUND IN SEA Anstruther, Fife. At 12.49 on the afternoon of Wednesday the 31 st of July, 1963, the coastguard at Anstruther informed the honorary secretary that the Polish trawler Marabut had reported that she was standing by the body of a woman off Fifeness, but did not propose to pick it up. The life-boat James and Ruby Jackson was launched at 1.5 with a police sergeant and a constable on board and made for the position in a light east-north-east wind and slight sea on the ebb tide.
