DOCTOR TAKEN TO CHIEF ENGINEER Cromer, Norfolk. At 8.36 on the morning of the llth June, 1963, the coastguard informed the honorary secretary that there was a sick man on board the motor vessel Warwickbrook, of London, who needed medical assistance.

The no. 1 life-boat Henry Blogg was launched at 9.10 with a doctor on board. There was a gentle northerly wind and a slight sea. It was one hour before high water. The doctor was put aboard the motor vessel, and after examining the man, who was the chief engineer, he diagnosed food poisoning.

The doctor treated the man for this and then returned ashore in the life-boat, which reached her station at 10.30..
