EMPTY ROWING BOAT TOWED TO HARBOUR Donaghadee, Co. Down. At 5.5 on the morning of the llth June, 1963, the coastguard informed the honorary secretary that a small boat was drifting a mile and a half north-north-east of Orlock. The life-boat Sir Samuel Kelly put out at 5.20 in a light south-easterly breeze and a calm sea. The tide was ebbing. The life-boat found the empty rowing boat May and took it in tow to Donaghadee.
