Awards to Honorary Workers

Honorary Life-Governor Mrs. W. D. Gale has been appointed an honorary life-governor of the Institution in recognition of the valuable help she has given to the life-boat service as honorary secretary of the West Cowes ladies' life-boat guild since 1935, and previously as a member of the guild from 1915. She has been presented with a copy of the vote inscribed on vellum and signed by H.R.H. Princess Marina, Duchess of Kent, as President of the Institution.
