IN the September 1962 issue of The Life-boat the honour bestowed on Rear Admiral E. S. Irving was in- correctly given as K.C.B. instead of C.B. on page 300. On page 329 it was stated that ex-coxswain Henry Walker of Holy Island had served as cox- swain for 6| years. In fact his period of service as coxswain was 16f years..
