Awards to Honorary Workers

Honorary Life-Governor MR. WILLIAM JAMES has been appointed an honorary life-governor of the Institution in recognition of the valuable help he has given to the life-boat service for forty-three years as honorary secretary of the Runswick station branch. He has been presented with a copy of the vote inscribed on vellum and signed by H.R.H. Princess Marina, Duchess of Kent, as President of the Institution.
