MR. R. C. BAVERSTOCK, former Assistant Secretary of the Institution, died on the 21st October. He joined the Institution's staff in 1909, and after a break during the first world war, when he served in the army, he was in the service of the Institution for 44 years.

He held the post of Accountant for 16 years and in 1948 was appointed Assistant Secretary. He retired in 1953..
