Great Yarmouth and Gorleston, Nor- folk. At 7.34 on the evening of the 10th of October, 1960, the coastguard informed the honorary secretary that the motor vessel Pulborough of London had a sick man on board in Yarmouth Roads. The life-boat Cunard, on tem- porary duty at the station, was launched at 7.46 with a doctor on board in a light to moderate north-westerly wind with a slight sea and a flood tide. The sick man, who was suffering from blood poisoning, was brought ashore and taken to hospital. The life-boat re- turned to her station at 8.30..
