Arranmore, Co. Donegal. During the afternoon of the 22nd of October, 1960, the honorary secretary was informed that the Greek vessel Argo Delos was aground on Inishtrahull Island.

The life-boat W. M. Tilson put out at 4.30. She reached the Argo Delos at two o'clock early on the morning of the 23rd of October and stood by until tugs arrived at ten o'clock. She then returned to Arranmore, arriving at nine o'clock in the evening..
