Great Yarmouth and Gorleston, Norfolk. At 5.22 on the morning of the 28th of May, 1960, the coastguard told the honorary secretary that a small vessel was aground on the eastern side of the Middle Scroby sands. At six o'clock the life-boat Louise Stephens was launched at low water in a fresh north-westerly wind and a smooth sea.
