A Yacht

Portrush, Co. Antrim. At 6.25 on the evening of the 10th of October, 1959, the coastguard informed the honorary secretary that a small yacht with three young men on board was missing. At 6.40 the life-boat Lady Scott (Civil Service No. 4) was launched in a moderate easterly wind and sea. It was low water. The life-boat found the yacht off Ranore Head close to the rocks and escorted her back to harbour.

The life-boat reached her station at 7.15.
