Dungeness, Kent. At nine o'clock the life-boat Mabel E. Holland was launched in a moderate sea. There was a strong north-easterly wind and it was low water. The life-boat found the motor cruiser Glenshane of Chichester in tow of a fishing boat. The Glen- shane had broken down and was leaking. The life-boat escorted her to Rye Harbour and then returned to her station, arriving at 12.25. One of the crew of the Glenshane made a donation to the Institution's funds. Rewards to the crew, £12 12s. ; rewards to the helpers on shore, £18 15s..
