Memosa

Tenby, Pembrokeshire. At 5.30 on the evening of the 4th of September, 1958, the honorary secretary was in- formed that the motor boat Memosa was drifting out of control off Ragan Point. At 5.40 the life-boat Henry Comber Brown was launched in a calm sea, with light airs blowing and a flood tide. She found the Memosa aban- doned about a quarter of a mile off Marras beach and took her in tow. On the way back to her station the life- boat picked up the motor boat's skipper, who was rowing a punt off Markstone Point. He had landed his five passengers at Saundersfoot and was making for Tenby. The punt was also taken in tow, and the life-boat reached her station at 6.50.
