Peterhead, Aberdeenshire. At 2.50 on the afternoon of the 4th of April, 1958, the life-boat Julia Park Barry of Glasgow was launched in a rough sea, with a moderate east-north-easterly gale blowing and an ebb tide. She escorted five motor fishing vessels to harbour and then returned to her station, arriving at 3.40, but because of the weather she could not be rehoused until four days later.
