Marie Leach

Tenby, Pembrokeshire. At 10.25 on the morning of the 23rd of May, 1958, the coastguard told the honorary secretary that the motor fishing vessel Marie Leach, with a crew of three, appeared to be in difficulties five miles north-west of Rhossili. The life-boat Henry Comber Brown was launched at 10.30. There was a rough sea, a strong south-easterly gale was blowing, and it was high water. At 11.25 the life-boat found the Marie Leach six to seven miles from Tenby. She escorted her to safety and reached her station at 1.30.
