Lieut.-Colonel E. G. H. Livesey, who was District Organising Secretary for the Midlands from 1952 to 1957, died on the 29th of March, 1958. Lieut.- Colonel Livesey was educated at Epsom College and the Royal Military College, Sandhurst, and after being commissioned as an officer in the Cameronians he was transferred in 1936 to the 4/7 Rajput Regiment, and later to the Royal Army Ordnance Corps.
