Filey, Yorkshire.—At 1.40 on the afternoon of the 23rd of August, 1957, the coastguard reported that the weather was worsening and that three cobles were still at sea. The life-boat The Isa and Penryn M listed was launched at 1.45 in a rough sea. A moderate southerly gale was blowing and the tide was flooding.
