New Member of Committee of Management

DR. E. A. PASK, O.B.E., has been coopted to the Committee of Management of the Institution. Dr. Pask, who was educated at Rydal School and Cambridge and studied at the London Hospital, is now Professor of Anaesthetics in the University of Durham and works at the Newcastle Medical School. He is a member of the Survival at Sea Sub-Committee of the Royal Naval Personnel Research Committee.

During the war he served in the Royal Air Force and was largely engaged in research on behalf of Air Sea Rescue.

He was particularly concerned with problems of artificial respiration and the testing and designing of life-jackets and other equipment.

Dr. Pask is honorary medical adviser to the Tynemouth station..
