Peel, Isle of Man.—At 5.4 on the after- noon of the 8th of September, 1957, the harbour master reported that a small fishing boat was drifting towards White Strand. The life-boat Helena Harris—Manchester and District XXXI was launched at 5.24 in a moderate sea. There was a moderate southerly breeze and it was nearly low water. "The life-boat found the 22- feet yawl Jacqueline, which had a crew of three, with her engine broken down.
