Ramsgate, Kent.—At 1.35 on the after- 10011 of the 7th of July, 1957, a mes- ;age was received from the east pier ;hat a yacht needed help off Dumpton 3ap. The life-boat Michael and Lily Davis put out at 1.45 in a moderate ;ea. There was a fresh south-westerly areeze blowing and it was low water.

The life-boat found the yacht Cameo II ivith four people on board. The yacht tvas dismasted and was in danger of ^oing ashore. The life-boat took her in tow, arriving at Ramsgate at 2.37.
