Filey, Yorkshire.—At 11.40 on the morning of the 10th of January, 1957, the coastguard reported that the local fishing boat Margaret and James was at sea in very bad weather. At 12.5 the life-boat The Isa and Penryn Milsted was launched. There was a very rough sea, a moderate north-westerly gale was blowing, and the tide was ebbing.
