Fishing Boats

Bridlington, Yorkshire.—On the after- noon of the 23rd of February, 1957, three local fishing boats were at sea.

The wind had freshened from the south- east, causing a very heavy sea at the harbour mouth, and the life-boat Tillie Morrison, Sheffield II was launched.

The tide was ebbing. The life-boat remained at the mouth of the harbour until the fishing boats arrived and escorted them all safely in.—Rewards to the crew, £10 10,?.; rewards to the helpers on shore, £10 4s..
