Great Yarmouth and Gorleston, Norfolk.—At seven o'clock on the evening of the 16th of November, 1955, Lloyds' agent reported that the S.S. Fulham IV, of London, was mak- ing for Gorleston with a sick man, and asked if lie could be taken ashore.

At 8.15 the life-boat Louise Stephens was launched with a doctor on board.

There was a swell and a light north- westerly breeze, and it was two hours after low water.
