LORD WINSTER, P.C., K.C.M.G., has been elected a Vice-President of the Institution.

Lord Winster, who was Governor and C.-in-C. of Cyprus from 1947 to 1949 and was formerly M.P. for Bas- ingstoke and Nuneaton, has been a member of the Committee of Manage- ment of the Institution since 1932.

He has served on a number of com- mittees and from 1944 to 1945 was chairman of the Operations Committee..
