UNDER the terms of the Thomas Gray Memorial Trust, the objects of which are "the advancement of the science of invention and the scientific and educa- tional interests of the British Mercantile Marine," the Council of the Royal Society of Arts is offering a prize of £50 to a member of the British Merchant Navy for a deed brought to its notice which is considered of outstanding professional merit.
