BridUngton, Yorkshire.—On the 10th of November, 1954, the weather worsen- ed while local fishing boats were at sea, and a heavy sea was running at the harbour entrance. At 1.20 in the afternoon the life-boat Tillie Morrison, Sheffield II was launched with the second coxswain in charge. There was a moderate south-south-west gale and a flooding tide.
