Fishguard, Pembrokeshire.—At 4.10 on the afternoon of the 23rd of Septem- ber, 1954, the life-boat honorary secre- tary saw a motor fishing vessel driving towards the north breakwater. At 4.20 the life-boat White Star was launched and made for the M.F.V. in a rough sea. A fresh south-easterly gale was blowing, and the tide was half flood. The life-boat found M.F.V.
