Krab
Anstruther, Fifeshire.—At 6.57 on the morning of the 25th of August, 1954, the Fifeness coastguard telephoned that the fishing vessel Krab, of Gdynia, had run ashore half a mile east of Leven. At 7.12 the life-boat James and Ruby Jackson was launched.
There was a slight swell and a light north-westerly breeze. The life-boat stood by the Krab until she refloated on the flood tide and then returned to her station, arriving at 11.15.—Re- wards, £11 14,s..
