Two Pedalo Pleasure Floats

Ramsgate, Kent.—At 1.55 on the after-noon of the 7th of June, 1954, the coastguard rang up to say that two Pedalo pleasure floats, each with two people in them, were drifting south- wards. At 2.7 the life-boat E.M.E.D., on temporary duty at the station, put out. The sea was rough and a moderate south-westerly breeze was blowing. The life-boat came up with the floats off the harbour, rescued the four people in them and took the floats to Ramsgate, which she reached at 2.23.—-Rewards, £7 7s. Qd..
