Howth, Co. Dublin.—At eight o'clock on the evening of the 27th of May, 1954, the life-boat's motor mechanic saw the yacht Maybe, of Dun Laog- haire, capsize half a mile off the Nose of Howth. Five minutes later the life-boat R.P.L. was launched. The sea was rough, and a squally south- easterly wind was blowing. The life- boat rescued the yacht's crew of two, towed her to Howth, and reached her station again at 9.15.—Rewards, £4 18s..
