Primrose
Dunbar, East Lothian.—At 1.10 on the afternoon of the 3rd of March, 1954, the coastguard telephoned that the fishing boat Primrose, which had a crew of four, was two hours overdue.
At 1.20 the life-boat George and Sarah Strachan was launched in a rough sea, with a strong south-easterly wind blowing. She found the Primrose two miles to the south-east. Her nets had been fouled, and the life-boat escorted her to harbour, arriving at 2.10.—Rewards, £7..
