Trustful III

On the afternoon of the 26th of October, 1953, the Aberdeen No. 1 life-boat Hilton Briggs went to the help of the local fishing boat, Trustful III. In rough and confused seas a tow rope was made fast to the fishing boat, and the life-boat towed her to harbour. The thanks of the Institu- tion inscribed on vellum were accorded to Coxswain George Flett. For a full account of this service see page 632..
