Moelfre, Anglesey.—On the afternoon of the 12th of August, 1952, the row- ing boat Norman, of Moelfre, with a party of five visitors aboard, got out of control, was swept round Moelfre Island and carried out to sea. At 3.40 the life-boat G. W. was launched in a rough sea with a south-westerly wind of gale force blowing, and came up with the boat about one mile north of Moelfre Island. The five people, who had had a narrow escape from being swamped, were rescued by the life-boat and taken back to Moelfre, together with their boat, arriving at 4.15.—Rewards, £7 5s..
