Lollipop

Tenby, Pembrokeshire.—At 11.10 on the morning of the 10th of September, 1952, the coastguard telephoned that the motor vessel Lollipop from Caldy Island, with ten persons on board, was drifting, with a rope round her pro- peller, near rocks between Caldy and Deel Point. At 11.15 the life-boat John R. Webb was launched. The sea was rough with a moderate north- easterly gale blowing, but the Lollipop cleared her propeller and made slow progress. The life-boat escorted her to safety and returned to Tenby Har- bour, arriving at 12.10 that afternoon.
