Fishing Vessels
Whitby, Yorkshire.—At 9.20 on the morning of the 30th of September, 1952, the coastguard reported that five fishing vessels were at sea in deteriorat- ing weather, and at 9.40 the No. 1 life-boat Mary Ann Hepworth was launched, with the second coxswain in charge. A moderate north-north-east gale was blowing, with a heavy sea.
