On the 13th of July, 1952, the Mar- gate life-boat went to the help of a small yacht ashore on Margate sands, and the assistant mechanic waded through the surf to bring two men off the yacht.—Rewards, The thanks of the Institution inscribed on vellum to the assistant motor mechanic, Norman H.
