Gourdon, Kincardineshire. —• At two o'clock in the afternoon of the 13th of March, 1952, the coastguard tele- phoned that a steamer reported seeing wreckage eleven miles east-south-east of Gourdon, believed to be of the S.S.

Rosso, of Stockholm, which had foun- dered the previous week. At 2.15 the life-boat Margaret Dawson was launched in a slight swell with a light south-easterly breeze, and picked up a hatch and a small gangway. She arrived back at her station at seven o'clock that night. •— Rewards, £22 12*. 6d..
