In Memory of the Life-Boats at Dunkirk

THE Institution has received over £9 from brother officers and friends of the late Major Charles Lawless Saunders, R.A.S.C. Those gifts were sent, in place of flowers for his funeral, at his own request, in gratitude to the Life-boat Service. He was one of the 2,800 men whom the Ramsgate life-boat brought off the beaches of Dunkirk in May and June, 1940.

The Institution has also received gifts of over £7 from friends of the late Mr. Charles Long of the White Horse Hotel, Blakeney, in Norfolk..
