Pilot Me II

Whltby, Yorkshire.-—At noon on the 26th of January, 1952, the second coxswain reported that the local motor fishing vessel Pilot Me II had wire- lessed that she was making for the harbour. A strong northerly breeze was blowing, with a heavy sea. At 12.15 the No. 1 life-boat "Mary Ann Hepworth was launched, found the fishing vessel off Whitby Rock Buoy, escorted her to the harbour, and reached her station again at 1.5.— Rewards, £10 2s. 6d..
