St. Declan

On the 14th of December, 1950, the Dunmore East life-boat saved the fish- ing boat St. Declan and -rescued her crew of five. The Institution awarded a bar to the bronze medal which he had won in 1941 to Coxswain Patrick Power, the bronze medal to Second-Coxswain Richard Power and a reward of £2, in addition to the reward on the ordinary scale of £l 10,?., to the coxswain, second- coxswain and each of the four members of the crew.
