A Yacht

Dun Laoghaire, Co. Dublin.—At six o'clock on the evening of the 15th of September, 1950, a resident telephoned the harbour master that a yacht was in difficulties. At 6.20 the life-boat Dunleary II was launched in a smooth sea and light north-westerly breeze.

Off the West Pier, she found a home- made raft with two men aboard. Theraft was sinking. The life-boat there- fore took off the two men and returned to her station, arriving at 6.40.— Rewards, £9 2*. Qd..
