Kilmore, Co. Wexford.—At four o'clock in the afternoon on the 18th of May, 1950, the Inspector of the Irish Lights telephoned to ask the life-boat to go to the Coningbeg Lightvessel and bring ashore a lightkeeper whose father was dying. Accordingly, at half past four the life-boat Ann Isabella Pyemont was launched, in a smooth sea with a light south-easterly wind blowing.
She got back again with the keeper at 7.30 in the evening.—-Rewards, £14 16s.
