Windsor Lad II and Isabella

Filey, Yorkshire.—On the morning of the 25th of October, 1949, while two local fishing cobles were out fishing, the south-easterly wind increased almost to a gale. The life-boat The Cuttle was launched at 11.10 in a heavy swell and finding the cobles Windsor Lad II and Isabella, escorted them ashore. The life-boat arrived back at her station at 12.30 that afternoon. •—• Rewards, £13 17*..
