Monte Gurugu

Appledore, Clovelly, and Df racombe, Devon.

—On the 13th of November, 1949, all three life-boats went to the help of the Spanish steamer Monte Gurugu, which was foundering at the entrance to the Bristol Channel, and rescued 24 lives.
