Aubins, and at 11.20 the life-boat Hearts of Oak, on temporary duty at the station, was launched. A strong west-south-west breeze was blowing, and the sea was rough. The life-boat found the motor yacht Viva, of Fal- mouth, with only a boy of fifteen on board, in Bel Croute Bay. She had two anchors down, but was driving on to the rocky shore.
