Minehead, Somerset. — At noon on the 5th of August, 1949, the police reported that two men in a rubber dinghy were be.ing blown out to sea from St. Audries Bay, and the life-boat Kate Greatorex put out at 12.30. A light south-westerly breeze was blowing and the sea was smooth. The life-boat found the dinghy between three and four miles off shore, rescued the men, took the dinghy on board and reached her station again at 4.30.
