A Rubber Dinghy (2)
Minehead, Somerset. — At noon on the 5th of August, 1949, the police reported that two men in a rubber dinghy were be.ing blown out to sea from St. Audries Bay, and the life-boat Kate Greatorex put out at 12.30. A light south-westerly breeze was blowing and the sea was smooth. The life-boat found the dinghy between three and four miles off shore, rescued the men, took the dinghy on board and reached her station again at 4.30. The two rescued men made a donation to the Institution.—Rewards, £13 15s. 6d..
