Fowey, Cornwall.—While the motor life-boat C.D.E.C. was out to the help of the woman who had fallen from Gribben Head on the 7th of August, a wireless message was received at her station from the Polruan coastguard at 5.50 that some boys had been cut off by the rising tide at Lantic Bay, two miles to the east of Fowey. AJs soon as she had landed the woman the life- boat set out for Lantic Bay, picked up a scoutmaster and two boys, and brought them to harbour. She reached her station again at half past seven.

The boys belonged to a troop from Kensington, London. The troop sent a gift to the Institution and thanked the crew.—Rewards, £5 5*..
