Hephzi-Bah and The John

Amble, Northumberland. — In the morning of the 5th of July, 1948, the local fishing cobles, Hephzi-Bah, and The John, were at sea. At 9.30, although the breeze from the north- north-west was moderate, a rough sea was running, and at 9.53 the motor life- boat Frederick and Emma was launched.

She found the cobles off Coquet Island and accompanied them into harbour, arriving back at her station at 11 o'clock.—Rewards, £6..
